A retreat should be just that...a retreat away from our everyday life, an opportunity to delve deeper into our yoga practise, giving our heart and soul time and space that is needed to grow and expand. Daily asana practice (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercise), kriya (cleansing) and meditation will start to detoxify, rejuvinate, strengthen and renew your body, mind and spirit. A healthy, detoxifying local vegan/vegetarian diet will support the magical power of the retreat landscapes that will nuture the cleansing and healing process that a getaway such as this will provide.


This five day, four night night retreat in beautiful Provence. Staying in a hideaway over looking an ancient market town Nyons. Embark upon a guided journey in which you will be nurtured, replenished and revitalized by our team to your every need.


All cuisine will be vegetarian, and locally sourced with fresh local vegetables, olive oil, fruits, nuts and more from the region to nourish and detoxify the body.

Where will the retreat be held?


Set in a rich landscape of olive groves, vineyards, forests and orchards, the privately owned Maison10 sits on a hill overlooking the ancient market town of Nyons – world famous for its olive oil. With its microclimate and exceptional air quality, Nyons is known locally as “little Nice”.  The largely undiscovered area offers dramatic and spectacular mountainous landscapes, and is very popular with yogis, cyclists, walkers and artists.

How much is the cost of the retreat?


Prices starting at £675 Double/Twin Room per person (shared occupancy). (£625 early bird discount before 1 March 2019)

What's included in the cost?


6 yoga classes (2 classes per day morning and evening)

3 nights accommodation at Maison 10

3  delicious vegetarian meals per day (including brunch, afternoon snack and dinner)

Daily meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises)

Free Wi-fi

What's not included in the cost?


The cost does not include flights and airport transfers.

Your Schedule



Arrive at Maison 10 any time after 12noon. On arrival there will be an afternoon snack. You can explore the beautiful surroundings and start to unwind.

Who will be teaching the yoga classes?


Classes will be taught by Amy McDonald and Sunita Devi

















Amy is a born and bred Kiwi making London her home in 2002. Her yoga journey began 11 years ago and has led to an ever-evolving path through the practice. Previously working in Interior Architecture, she saw the benefits of her yoga practice on her incredibly fast paced lifestyle which led Amy to pursue teaching to be able to share this with others.


With over 1000 hours of training under her belt training with Yogahaven London and has since trained under the guidance of Sharron Gannon and David Life at the Jivamukti Yoga School, New York/London. Amy also has trained with teachers such as Shiva Rea (vinyasa flow) and Norman Blair (yin yoga). Amy teaches weekly at Sangye Yoga School London. 


Amy's teaching focuses on alignment, breath and finding depth physically, mentally and emotionally through the practise. Attuning the classes in such a way that the students are in a space to find balance physically and energetically, whilst becoming holistically stronger and increasing flexibility. She aims to create a place where students feel uplifted and empowered and are able to take the practices off the mat with them to improve and inspire their everyday lives.

















Sunita fell in love with yoga asana practice as soon as she stepped on the mat and has never looked back...well, unless she was doing a back bend!!

Years of practising led Sunita to embark on her journey as a teacher with Yogahaven. Her aim as a teacher is to continue to deepen her own understanding of the practice and to share her knowledge with others. In her classes she encourages students to focus on their breath, alignment  to being open to whatever is in your heart and mind when you arrive on the mat.


What type of yoga classes can I expect on the retreat?


Our morning yoga practices will be energising and dynamic Jivamukti style which is a flowy vinyasa based practice, whilst our evening practices will be a magical blend of gentle flowing Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, candle lit meditation and some blissful yoga nidra. All classes will be tailored to the students so all levels are welcome.


Do I have to be of a particular level with my yoga practise for the retreat?


No, all the classes will be geared for all levels...from modifications for beginners to challenging sequences for advanced students.


Do I have to attend all the yoga classes?


All classes are optional, so you can do as little or as much as you like. All classes will be accessible to all levels.


What will I be eating?


You will be eating delicious and healthy vegetarian meals that are made from only the freshest and natural local ingredients.  With advance notice, special dietary requirements can be accommodated so please do let us know. 


What should I bring?


We have found these items to be useful on most retreats:

All yoga equipment will be provided.

Refillable water bottle.

 A few changes of yoga wear we will practice more than once a day

Sunscreen and insect repellent


What can I do in my free time?


There is plenty for you to do as listed below or you can just take a load off and rest relax and recharge.

·       Short walk into town to cafes, restaurants and weekly market

·       Stargazing from our observatory 

·       Open air cinema in the summer 

·       Table tennis

·       Lots to do locally from cycling (using pedal or electric bikes), hikes, Apricot and Lavender picking (seasonal).  We can provide details of local tour operators for anyone wanting to do wine tasting or trips, for example to the Ardeche gorge or Mont Ventoux


Is a deposit required?


A 50% deposit is to be paid to reserve your place. Full payment needs to be made by 1st March 2018.


How far is the venue from the airport?


Maison 10 is just over an hour from Avignon's Eurostar service from St Pancras, and an hour and a half from Marseilles airport.

In terms of transport from the airport or station we can match people up to share taxi’s if requested. There is also of course the option to hire a car. If you would like help with taxi’s please let us know. 


Will I be sharing a room?


Rooms are double occupancy and price is per person. If you are bringing along a friend or partner please let us know and we make sure you share a room. If you plan to come on your own but would like to share and have any preferences on your ideal roomie. Let us know and we will match you with a suitable room mate. 


Will I incur a cancellation cost if I have to cancel last minute?


Cancellations costs as follows:

- Prior to 8 weeks before retreat date: full refund

- 4 to 8 weeks before retreat date: 50% refund of the full amount

- Less than 5 weeks before retreat date: no refund possible
