Practicing yoga regularly can help turn negative habits and fearful thoughts upside down. Challenging poses that may have once seemed impossible, like inversions will become possible and even fun helping you overcome fears and develop deep inner confidence.

Come and join Amy for this fun and informative workshop looking at the main inversions that you will come across in your asana practice.
Starting with a warming shoulder opening and core strengthening sequence followed by a step by step breakdown of the main inversions you will find in a Jivamukti class. Specifically headstand (sirsasana), shoulderstand (salamba sarvangasana), handstand (adho mukha vrksasana) and/or forearm stand (pinchamayurasana).
Aiming to give tools to build a safe and supported foundation with a steady connection to the earth and then working up from there. The yoga practice holistically, not only builds strength physically but also mentally and emotionally and this can be seen especially with challenging asanas such as inversions. There will be opportunity to ask questions so come prepared with a sense of adventure and curiosity.
